Most of the artists that just started to do commissions are likely to undervalue their works, and this is a big problem because you did not only devalue your works, but also others who are trying to sell their works too. So these are 3 methods on how to price your artworks fairly.

1.The amount of time you spent on each drawing.
So basically we just need an hourly rate in your country and estimated time, let’s see how that works when we assume the commission will take us 3 hours to complete. 3 (hours taken to finish) x $8 (hourly rate)=$24 and that's how it works.

2. Costs of materials.
You should not forget that artworks did not only costs time, but also the materials that are used, either paper, colors, pencil or even if you're doing digital art there is the cost of electricity, and your laptop or iPad and whatever you used.

3. Your skill levels
So at the start, you may just set your price as the minimum wage you got from the first two methods, and if you get commissioned a lot that means your art is wanted, now you can charge more from people the next time. And whatever you decided to add to this is completely up to you, as you get more commissioned you can always up the price a little bit more from the last time.
